Trying to simplify an exhausting problem !

Hi, I'm new here and I need a little guidance here, I want to improve the flow of my stock exhaust, but I don't want duels and not loud. I was thinking along the lines of a high flow Cat and a High flow muffler. But it's my truck, not a sports car, and at my age I like a simple quiet system. Can ya help a veteran out ?

For the year of that truck the Cat/s may need to be replaced as for the Muffler Corsa makes some nice ones that are still Quiet..
