Completed some clean-up work today on a few mods I completed a while back.
First one is underhood LED's and wiring:

I ran the wiring in PET wire loom and hid it a little better so the lights look more like a factory add-on.

The second mod was installing a remote CB, I actually installed the CB last spring but the trucks been in storage a few hundred miles away from me since last fall so I could never get pictures.
I believe it was Aloxdaddy99 asking for pics, sorry it took so long.
I hid the CB remote box in plain site by painting it black and stuffing it under the carpet next to the rear seat vent, out of the way for back seat riders and most people wont notice it unless their looking for it.

I also worked on installing red LED lights under my bed cover for nighttime cargo loading/unloading, while wiring the switch in which was the last piece it broke so I'll have to finish up that job and take pics in a day or two after I visit an auto parts store.

    lookin good!

i like the stowaway cb, so does the mic. have all the buttons on it and the actual radio is what you stashed under the seat? sorry if i sound like a caveman amazed by the wheel but ive never seen one like that before lol.

    Keep up the good work!

Got me curious on the CB, too.

All the controls and speaker are on the mic, it's an oversized hand mike.
The two grey buttons in the picture are channel up and down, the red button is auto Ch9, at the top where you cant see are squelch and volume twist knobs, and on the side is a transmit button.
The box is a junction box that connects the antenna, power, and hand control into the system.
There's also an external speaker jack on the box.

This one's made by Maxxon, I've had it about 9 years, I think I overpayed at $125.
Cobra has a nice All in Handset model the Cobra 75 WX ST, that in addition to having a slightly smaller hand control also has weather channels on it. I've seen the Cobra on sale below $90.
I've used both models and if I was gonna spend the money again I'd buy the Cobra, not solely because it's cheaper but it also has better clarity.
Theres control knob issues with the Cobra but I believe thats more getting used to a different radio.

Todays MOD is a new exhaust from muffler to bumper, I made a swap for cash and services with a local speed shop for a Coates SM915 tire changer I purchased used a few weeks back at a bank auction (to big for my garage so I'm sticking with my Coates BL250 tire changer).
Along with the cash they built me an exhaust for my Silverado, Magnaflow stainless single/dual muffler, 2 1/4 stainless pipes to the rear with stainless tips.

They also built me an exhaust for my Jeep Wrangler with a 4.3, duals from front to rear with an "H" pipe under the trans and Flowmaster Super 40 Mufflers.
