Default Is The PROM For The 1227747 ECU A One Or Two Piece?

When I buy a PROM for my 1227747 ECM should it be one or two chips? The reason I ask is because my ECU has two empty sockets, a large one and small one, the problem is that I thought I was ordering a whole ECM from Autozone. The web page wording sounded like I was getting a complete ECM with PROM so I ordered and sent in the whole unit as core only to get one without a PROM now I am stuck.

I have a 1990 GMC sierra that originally had a V6 but was swapped out with a 5.7L TBI. It seems that the engine, tranny, and wiring harness was all swapped out together.

I have all the info that was on the sticker on the old unit:
    SERV. NO. 1227747 ARJU
    86ARJU K302190396
    16136301 ARJU

    Are these part numbers correct:
    ACDELCO
    Part # 16060836
    ECM CODE 16060837-CALPAK

    AMAZON
    ACDelco 16060836 CALPAK - CODE 16060837

    AUTOZONE
    Part Number: 71-0001A

    Gearhead:
    Part number= 16147492

If you have 2 sockets it takes 2. New or rebuilt ECM's never get proms or Memcals since therte are so many applications.

I am sort of up to speed (in the slow lane), I returned that one to Autozon for $76 and got one at Pick A Part for $46 with both an ASDU and a Calpack. I haven't yet tried it as I am checking out wiring.
