2003 Sierra HD 1500 window problems

Hi All,

I have a 2003 Sierra that is having a window problem. When I put the driver side rear window down from the master switch, it will not go back up from the master switch. It will however go up from the rear control itself. I attempted to change out the master switch and found that I am experiencing the same problem. It doesn't seem like it should be a problem with the back switch. What are some other things that could cause this issue. There is full control from the rear control (up/down). This is also the only window that has the problem.

If you changed the master switch out with the correct functioning window switch, then it's time to get the voltmeter and test current as you may have a short from master window switch to rear window motor.

The 2003 Sierra window switch has 4 different functionalities that will cause problems if the incorrect one is installed. Check versions here:
