Update on serpintine belt
I let my truck warm up for about 6 mins and the chirping had gone away, I did tighten up the tensioner, alternator seems to be good to go, about 1/4 inch slack, does anyone else have this happen Durring cold start only? Thanks guys

That's the clue, if the noise stops after a few min of warm up, it is the belt. My previous truck had the same problem, a new belt stopped it.
BTW, keep the old one for an emergency spare, it's still a good belt.
You didn't tell us what you have for a truck, but if you have two belts, it is usually the long one.Ray
