4L60E fitment
I'm thinking about moving up from my 94 Burb to a 00-04 Burb. Two years ago I bought a travel trailer and had the trans in my 94 rebuilt/upgraded for towing. Any newer Burb in my price range is gonna have a ton of miles which concerns me about tranny health. Are the 4L60E's a direct swap from the 94 to an 00 style?

The only difference I can think is your 94 will not have a PWM solenoid in the valve body, and the 2000 would have an extra wire for this to work with the cruise control as well. The 4l60e connector has 12 wire pre-97, and 13 wires for the newer ones.
Could also be different bellhousing patterns, different tail shaft lengths so on and so forth.
The newer 4l60e have removeable bellhousing and tail shafts, your 94 does not.2004 Chevy Colorado
