Default Air Intake Snorkel - Ever Had One?

Just a quick post, just curious how many people have ever had one of these on a vehicle that they've owned. Not this brand, but some form of remote elevated air intake system.

    10 Chevy Traverse LT AWD
02 Chevy Trailblazer LS (110K+ miles - loaded except for 4WD - WRECKED!)
99 Chevy Cavalier LS (105K+ miles - commuter car)
    78 Chevy Suburban Silverado (454, 3/4 ton)
62 GMC 3/4 ton Pickup (350 police interceptor)

I thought about one when I had my 95. I stayed away from water and usually played in the mud. This guy had a nice one

My M37 has one...they actually show in the operator's manual the driver sitting on the back of the seat with his head sticking up above the roof line driving through water. Disconnect the fan belt, jack the hand throttle wide open, low gear, and go swimming!

You will find most guys that have them are more for looks...they hurt performance because of the distance through the tubing (i.e. sucking through a straw).
