    Default Steering cluck recommendation needed.

My '04 has the common steering clunk that I was to resolve. Found that the OEM part from Chevy is around $85.00 and there is an aftermarket part from Dorman available for around $50.00. Has anyone used the Dorman shaft? Does it eliminate the clunk? Good quality? Or should I stick with the OEM part?

    Hi,
If you do a search on this forum for a steering clunk fix, you will see how to repair your clunk without having to replace your shaft. I did it on my 04 and the clunk went away. Good luck.
