    Default New gmc s15

    Hey guys,
Picked up a little 1989 s-15 about a month ago. Been nothing but problems from the gate, but I'm fixing stuff as I can. I was wondering if anyone could give me an idea about this problem that started yesterday.
Truck surges at idle, and cuts out from time to time while driving. when idling it revs up and then drops almost enough to kill it, then picks back up again. about a 1.5 second rev, then quick drop, then rev again. I don't know anything about what kind of sensors it has and whatnot. While i'm driving I can feel it stumble every once in a while. Was running great the day before. I don't want to be driving it around if it's going to leave me stranded.
Let me know what you think.

Maybe a small crack/break in a vacuum line.

Do you have a vacuum gauge?
