    My tires are 31" and my truck is leveled. Here in Cleveland there is only 1.5in between the top of the truck and the concrete beams

    That sure doesn't leave much room to work with does it.....
    How tall are the garages you are speaking of?

    yeah, i would not reccoment the 6" lift either... not just for parking, but for drivability as well. you stand a very real chance of changing your geometry and ruining your front end by concentrating stress in the wrong places. not to mention the stress from heavier wheels/tires alone!
    and then, you need to re-gear!
    i may not even go 4 with my own truck. 2 is just enough to give it the ride i want and 285 tires are already big enough to mob over curbs. beyond that is just purpos built... and i dont launch boats from the beach lol
