Default How to disconnect EVAP charcoal canister hoses

If this has already been answered, my search kung-fu wasn't strong enough to find it.

I can't figure out how to disconnect the two small hoses that go to the EVAP canister. I've never seen these connectors before and I'm afraid of breaking them. I'm attaching a pic of the connectors. My phone doesn't have auto-focus, so that's the best I can get at the moment.
