You may need to remove the seat and look at the rails and tracks, maybe they need lubrication, etc. Sounds like your motors are ok, just binding, or tripping a stop sensor.
The lumbar thing maybe be an electrical problem, probably needs testing with a meter. Or, maybe just rust on the tracks.Ray
