    Default rim size

    would the rim on my 04 sierra be 16x7 or 16x7.5..and would a lt285 fit on a 7"...manufacturers specify 7.5 and up for a 285

    i just did a search and it says the 04 sierra 1500 came with a 16x6.5 rim.. is this right?

    no. its either 7 or 7.5....the 2500 I beleive is 6.5

    you can fit that tire on a 7" rim, but its not recomended because it will wear too fast or the wrong way
