Default leveling kit with 6" suspension lift?

Ok, noob here, but just had a 6" rough country lift installed on the 04 K1500 extended cab. Made the mistake of leaving the leveling torsion keys in prior to installation, and the truck would sit 2.5-3" higher in the front than the back after the installation. The installer told me that I had two options, lift the back (add-a-leaf), or lower the front (remove leveling kit). He told me that either was ok, that it wouldn't hurt the truck. I have since taken out the torsion keys (truck leveled), but want to know if its possible to re-install the leveling keys and the add-a-leaf without compromising the truck (just to add another couple inches to the current setting).

    Thanks for the help...

it should work fine, but with the level kit on top of the 6" your front end is gonna wear out quicker than usual and your going to have to keep and eye on your tires and make sure they stay aligned and the camber/caster stays even

Thanks for the help. Not sure what I want to do with it yet, but have a year to make the decision, when tires are due... (Going at least 315's)

I was told that the leveling kit with the lift puts too much angle on the CV shafts, which could cause the to slip out of gear. On my Tahoe I originally had the torsion bars cranked up and an add-a-leaf on the rear. I put the BDS lift on and it came with an add a leaf, the guy who put the lift on apparently didn't realize it and installed both. So I have been to several shops asking how to bring the front end up and will leveling kits work and the most answers I recieve is it puts too much angle on the CV shafts. Thats all I can tell you if it helps
