    Default My 05 Project Truck

    PICTURES TO COME TOMORROW!
    -------------------------------------------
So i've had this truck for about a year now.
    Here's my current mods/dressups:
Standard Lund Deflector on the hood
Lund Cowl Deflector (these are neat if you've never seen them)
Flowmaster 44 (Didnt want to do duals, every does em here)
    AirRaid Throttle Body Spacer
    3" Suspension Lift
    BFG KO 275's
    K&N Big N Beefy Filter

My next project is trying out a Hypertech programmer on it and seeing what I can come up with. I was curious as to whether anyone here has tried it or not, and what kind of results you got if you did.

Oh yea, its a 5.3L V8 vin Z (flex engine)

I'll post some pics tomorrow, i cant find them on my cam tonight.

Nice looking setup! I see you installed a TB spacer, did you notice any difference with it?

TB Spacer goes on tomorrow. I'll let you know improvements.
    ----
I'm really torn on what to do. I'm trying to keep it very simple and sleek. I'm sticking to two color accents (black and white). I'm thinking about putting some 33's with those black chrome wheels and whitewall tires one day.
I suppose the immediate thing that i'm going to do next is put white caps on the side view mirrors.

What do you guys think about push bars?

Anyone know where I could find some white caps for the side mirrors on the net?

    TB Spacer update:

Getting around 2-2.25 mpg better alone with the spacer in.
There's a noticable pickup from hard acceleration in the 45mph range.
Something interesting, I can hear aa noticable sucking sound from what I can only guess is the air going through this spacer. At certain RPMs there's also a soft whistle. which is kinda cool, makes it sound like a turbo :P

Looks like itll be 200bux well spent
