Springfield,Il. 4x4 Jamboree

Springfield,Illinois 4x4 Jamboree is June 27-29 2008 at the state fairgrounds. There were over 700 trucks last year and expecting more this year. I will be working Gate 8, the participants gate again this year. I am reserving an all weekend of sunshine,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,hopefully! ( it rained last year!) But was still a good time for all!

UPDATE FOR THE SHOW!! The original participant gate, (#8) will now be for spectators, the participant gate now is the main gate. Pre registrants have doubled in numbers since last year. Last year, in which was the first year of the jamboree came back to Springfield, Il. we had 700+ trucks in attendance, this year pre registrants have hit 700 as of last weekend! Its going to be a good show!

Springfield I believe is the oldest Jambo in existance, and one of the first ever held. Bob Chandler introduced the USA to Big Foot at the Springfield Jambo back in the 70's.
I went to a few of them in the 80's but havent been back for over 20 years.
