Got backed into in a parking lot. I backed up and a lady backed her bonneville into my rear quarter panel behind the back bumper. The dent was huge. As I walked closer to look at it it popped out!! There are a few small creases left, but I guess I can deal with that. Could have been worse. The funniest part was that the women told me that I backed into her and that she honked to let me know she was coming. Hmmm! If I backed into you why is your REAR tail light broken and my SIDE panel dented?

Changed my oil yesterday. I was about a month late. Keep in mind, I still use conventional oil and change it every 3,000 miles.

Just ordered all new headlight housings and a billet grille for my truck. If everything gets here in time, I'll have a nice little project for next weekend. Before and after pics will follow.

Washed and detailed my truck, since the forcast calls for 70 deg weather all week.
Then installed new billet grills in the bumper and lower front valence to match the main grill.
Had to spend a little time manufacturing a new lower license plate bracket since the new valence grill deletes it and Texas requires one.

Saturday in the flurries we got it was perfect snow for doughnuts. Had fun in both the high school and an elementary school parking lot. Also did the coolest drift across the parking lot it was amazing wish I had taken video.

Ordered my new rear diff cover and a Fel-pro gasket for the diff. Its a chrome cover and has a drain plug which will make my life easier. Wish I could afford a nice supported and finned one like summit sells but I don't have the cash for it right now. I'll be replacing the fluid and cover in 2 weeks when I have spring break.

I just can't seem to win with this truck. Last week I replaced the slip yoke for the front driveshaft because of play in the t-case. Today I ordered a new moog front wheel hub for the driver side. It has been whining for the past 6 months. But, I could only hear it on a very smooth new section of road. Last night the whine turned into a hum. I removed the wheel and front brakes and confirmed that it is the hub. So to date, since I have owned it over the last 2 years I have changed: Steering gear box, brake hydro booster, front diff, t-case, slip yoke, front passenger side hub, passenger side cv shaft, power steering pump, alternator, idler pully, tensioner and pulley (twice), front impact sensor, SIR coil. That does not include what I consider maintenance items that I have changed. Front and rear shocks, rear springs, u-joints, idler arm and bracket, inner and outer tie rod ends, plugs, diff fluids, tires. My 2003 that I owned had more miles on it and half of these issues. But, I guess I can't complain that much it does have 160,000 miles on it. At this rate it will be all mechanically new in 3 more years.

I purchased a set of 16" steel rallies for my 90 suburban. Now I just have to find the correct tool to enlarge the center hub hole diameter to 3 5/8" lol

The cover and gasket came in today. The cover looks great and seems well made.
