Adding a Brake Controller to Chevy Traverse - Prodigy by Tekonsha
I'm about to buy a brake controller for my Traverse, and I'm leaning towards the prodigy unit. It should plug in directly to the wires under to dash that are pre set for aftermarket brake controllers. I'll update on how easy it is to manage and install.
Edit: here is an under dash shot showing the connection that is all ready to accept the brake controller. Wow, thanks GM for making this easy! It's just plug and play!
Edit 2: Found a good video from etrailer.com on how the installation works. I think it's important to add that they make a Chevy-specific plug that will work directly with the Traverse (and other GM vehicles - check the application) so you don't have to cut, splice and crimp into your wires.
