Default What kind of music do you listen to?

Hey Guys I was wondering what kind of music everyone likes. I am a Classic Rock fan at heart, but I like some of the new stuff as well. I guess Stevie Ray Vaughn (Blues) is my all time favorite artist.

I love it all because of it's diversity... no bounderies! When I'm in my truck it's ALL ROCK though usually rather heavy ROCK... LOL... Being in a modern rock coverband it's my time to practice new stuff... 5 kids @ home make it hard to practice there...lol... STEVIE is the man though... My wife loves him... My all time favorite vocals would have to be Freddie Mercury, and David Bowie though...

LOL... Was what? LOL... Yes mercury was a GREAT, but BOWIE had IT too... He stamped the scene, and never took NO for an answer... This is what it takes to make not only great music, but a real change when it is needed... ROCK, CLASSIC OR NEW is all about how you impact the future by changing the present with how you view the past...

If you like SRV check out Doyle Bramhalls new album, a lot of it is SRV songs remade but its still just as good as SRV (Doyle Bramhall was SRV's song writer for many years). Kenny Wayne Sheppard is another great artist to listen to. Jeff Healy released a new blues album days before his death earlier this year that has great sound. Another good band to listen to is the Black Keys, a great sounding band thats been on the scene for a few years but never got noticed. And last but not least if you like a little spice in your music try The Radiators, a great mix of Zydeco and Blues from the swamps around N.O.

Oh, if I didnt mention it my favorite music is Classic Rock, Southern Rock, Blues, Americana, a little Motown, and everyonce in a while a little country.

I'm primarily classic rock and Punk Rock. However, I love all types of rock, and most all other genres except rap. A couple of my favorite bands are Rise Against, Dream Theater, Guns N' Roses, Metallica, and many others.
