power steering prob.

hello to all, . i am looking for a litlle help. i have a 95 suburban which just started giving me problems with the power steering. when i turn to the left at slow speed (under 10 MPH)and it's kind of hard to turn. it turns without any glitches to the right. fluid is at the proper level and there are no leaks.has any one had any similar issues or maybe have an idea of what it could be?. thanks.

only a few things it can be. Is it 4x4?

It is not the pump, if it works easily one way, then I'd assume the pump is fine beucase the pump works the same either way.

I'd be looking at the steering box, maybe something broke off and is wedged in there and it slides past in one direction but catches in the other.

Or you have a bent or worn peice of your steering linkage system, something is jammed or stuck , look under your truck carefully at all the pieces of the steering linkage.
