    Default 2014 GMC Sierra Review

In two weeks I'll have the GMC Sierra for review. Keep your eyes open for photos, video and a review of that truck as well. I'll try to offer up a compare/contrast between the Silverado and the Sierra as well for buyers who are interested in one over the other.

If you get a chance-maybe you could do a 60 mph mpg test?

Just set the CC to 60 mph-reset trip mpg- run it a couple or so miles-level hy no wind-no hills no overpasses ... see what you get.

MPG nuts are betting the newest 5.3-2wd version rated a stunning 23mpg hy-will get 25mpg plus at 60-65 mph.

Hard to believe the newest 5.3 has beaten the super complicated Ford 3.5 twin turbo- but it has.Pretty sure Ford will respond-but I don't think they thought a 2 valve pushrod motor would be beating their much more complicated and expensive twin turbo.

The WHOLE point of the 3.5 turbo was to get FE and HP Torque that was BETTER than old fashioned old tech larger displacement V-8s- the FE was THE REASON!!
    Yeah big surprise for everyone.

    Thanks
    Charlie

You got it Charlie - @phoebeisis. I'll do that on all of the vehicles that I test drive from now on.
