Default my 98 z71's picture thread

my truck is a 1998 Silverado z71 I got it with 272,000 miles and every thing was brand new in it[except the tranny] so a few months later the transmission went out so I had it rebuilt. Now it is basically a brand new truck and I couldn't be happier with it!

Sharp looking truck!! You have one of my favorite body styles. I had two 97s (not at the same time) and both treated me well.

Thanks...I hope she'll rack up as many miles as my 97s did and run just as well. When I sold them, one had ~180k and the other had ~230k or ~250k (it's been awhile and I'm getting old...terrible combination when trying to remember something over a few years ago, let alone yesterday).....Anyway, both were still running excellent and neither had any major work done. That's why I'm still driving a GMC.

Always liked that body style; grandfather had one that was a 5-speed stick. Loved that truck.

Truck still looks great. Good for another 250k miles.
