    Default Help me out folks

I have a 90 suburban with the 350.!my buddy tells me that all center bolt applications are vortec engines. I was under the impression that all vortec engines had vertical intake bolts and mine are angled?!

AFAIK, the first 350 to use the Vortec heads was in 1996.

Well that's what I thought too! They had vertical intake bolts instead of angled, but a mechanic buddy of mine says no. All center bolt sbc are vortec.
