Default service airbag information light on dic

I have a 2009 Silverado Z71 4x4 crew cab. Service Air bag light on dic would come on them go off intermittently while driving. Now it stays on. Common sense tells me that its a loose connection somewhere. Any recommendations?

Check the front bumper...should be a couple sensors up there...my 03 had that same issue...i also heard that when the light is on,if you were to get into a accident, the air bags wont work

I had an frontal impact sensor go bad on mine. Oreilly's is the only part store that had them. $89 I think that it was a Dorman brand. You need to find someone with a tech II so they can read the code.
