Default What's your favorite generation of trucks?

Just out of curiosity, what generation of trucks do you members like the most? As in 50s and prior, 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, etc.

    Late 67/68 to 72.
My older brother went through probably 15 trucks from that era during the late 70's and early 80's.
He would build them up into a nice street rod then sell when his taste changed, which was every 6 months.
At that time those were just considered old trucks and didnt carry the value they do now.
My favorite was a 68 GMC camper special long bed with the 396BB, 4spd Muncie, power brakes, steering, A/C, power windows and locks, didnt know it at the time but it was rare to have all the power accys with a manual trans. Wonder where that truck is now.

88-98 trucks. Dad had a 92 with 365,000 on the original 4.3 and trans that is the first truck I learned to drive. Then I had a 97 for my first truck with a 4.3. Now I have the 99 with a 5.3.

If at first you don't succeed, get a bigger cheater bar.

I've always loved the late 70s to early 80s body styles.

88-98 ck's. I love my 95. My first truck, clean and low mileage. It'll be a cold day in hell if I ever decide to sell it.

I'd say mid to late 70s are my favorite cause my Grandpa always had one growing up.. but if I had time and money I'd love to build a late 60s early 70s model for cruising..

Mid-70's to the 98/99 trucks are the best looking trucks in my opinion so are the 50's. But if we think about it Chevy and GMC trucks are always the best looking!!

I like the looks of the late '60's and early '70's trucks, but still prefer the '88-'98 C/K trucks. I was finally able to purchase a full size truck for the first time back in 2008, even though it was used, and the '89 K2500 is what I decided to get out of several other choices. I still love this old truck!
