My local chevy dealership and I have replaced the bulbs on our ambulance multiple times. This last time I have discovered that the pigtail was actually melted and burnt around the socket connection. Had the pigtail replaced at the local auto electric shop that handles all of our electrical issues. The owner there said he has replaced about 4 pigtails per month for the same issue on another hospitals ambulances which are all GM. The other day the other side began to act up and was also melted and burnt when I pulled the bulb. The owner of the electric shop nor the GM dealership are aware of any problems. So here I am looking for other possible answers than just a loose connection or to see if anyone else has had a similar answer. Thank you.
