5.7L cheap or free preformance?

does anyone know what would be a cheap and simple way to boost preformance on 89's 5.7l? already have flowmasters and workin on getting a intake

wow a 1989? are you trying to get better performance, gas mileage, or both?

The next time you need new tires put shorter tires on it. This is much much cheaper than regearing. It will let you accelerate faster, but it will cost you some hy mpg. Wider tires will look a bit cooler also (but the tires/wheels are so small already that they will be lost in that big wheel well)

Hey man after the Intake put on a set of long tube headers, more air and better flow = performance. I would also upgrade the rest of the exhaust as you have funds. I don't know if you can custom tune a pcm from an 89, but I would look into that as well.
