    Default Colorado or Sierra?

Just sold my 2005 2500HD duramax , toyhauler and all my dirt toys! I miss having a truck and was considering a Colorado? Interested in a street truck (lowered etc) All the trucks i have seen are stock 4 bangers. Power/speed would be an issue. Do they make a six cyl? What are my other options?

The thing is, the Colorado is in hiatus being made and should return in 2014. Are you looking at used or new?

    The Colorado came with an 2.9L I4, a 3.7L I5, and some came with a 5.3L V8.

Just an opinion, worth about $.02. I never liked any of the "Big three's" smaller trucks. There was little, if any, mileage advantage. (unless you buy the four popper) A Chev. or GMC full size 1/2 ton with the 4.3 would do a lot better when you not only consider gas mileage, but maint. costs as well. And you can actually haul something if you need to !
