Its not constant, but it is annoying when it does it.
When I am making turns that involve quite a bit of turning (usually I notice it in reverse) I hear the steering wheel squeak... what do you think is causing it or where do you think I could lubricate it to make it stop??

On my 99, there is a rubber grommet at the firewall that the steering shaft goes through. That is where mine squeaks.

I dont know. Sounds like it is between the steering wheel and the column. I'll try to pay closer attention or see if I can get it to do it while I am sitting still in the driveway.
