Hmm. You just might be right. I bended it and no sound yet. Going to need to do some more testing... Thanks so much for taking the time to post and help out!!!! Awesome!

Glad to help! Love those cheap, easy fixes! Like I said, it took me three weeks and every shop that would look at it for free before I figured it out. mine still makes the sound every now and then. I just crawl under the truck and bend it again. Unfortunately, you can't just remove those shields. I might do an exhaust upgrade in the near future. I just don't want anything too loud.
