Default Where do I find color information?

I need to pick up a little touch up paint. I don't think the paint color is indicated in the VIN #. Is it an rpo code in the glove box or is it on the sticker on the door? Or can the auto parts simply look it up by year/model? Thanks

It is on the RPO tag I think most paint codes are the ones on the last line that start with numbers. Like my '96 Tahoe is Summit white RPO 50U

Thanks Conlan. You're right. I had just confirmed this as well.
