OEM Silverado oil drain plugs.
Since I change my own oil, I am asking where can one get the OEM drain plugs for the NNBS Silverados (besides the dealer).
The ones I am talking about have the rubber o-ring built into the drain plug.

Autozone sells a few different drain plugs. I used one for my truck and it works great! Its just like the one you described with the o-ring built in.

Or you could just buy the o rings separate for a couple bucks. Mine wore out and I just replaced it.2009 GMC Sierra 5.3L running on E85

Yah They had mine because the 350's almost all had the same drain plug so it was common. For another truck I would double check your thread sizes or bring yours. Likely the 5.3 uses the same plug as the 5.7.

Most GM trucks have metric bolts and threads because the bolts are mainly made in Canada

I am having a hard time finding one with a built in gasket like that, that is also magnetic.
