    Default Colorado wheel issues

went to check out a set of new shoes for my 08 colorado z-71. and was told this is a hard truck to fit because of the way the truck is made. anybody got some brands that will fit? anyone ever heard of this stuff happening before? any help appreciated. also thinking of going with 20 or 22 inch wheels.

It's not that your truck is hard to fit, there are just fewer choices available. Colorados and Canyons have wheels with the old standard 6 on 5.5-inch lug pattern and large bore hubs. Consequently, wheels made for 2WD 1999-newer, 6-lug, hub centric,1500s with small hub bores will not fit. Also, your truck has a high offset wheel so tires larger than recommended sizes will require body modification. Don't expect big truck wheel wells from a compact.
    Are we having fun, yet?
