Well, it's a touchy situation. We all know that these types of businesses exist in every industry. Pick an industy ... furniture maybe. There are places in town that will sell you a new set of furniture and they'll do it in a low-pressure way and cut you an honest deal. Then there are places that will bring you in with a lower-price for the same thing, only to tack on extra service fees, delivery fees, installation fees, higher interest rates, etc. The next thing you know, you've spent more money.

I'm sure GM knows that these places do business this way, but they want to see vehicles so badly right now that they might be looking the other way. But, how do you ignore this? All those complaints? 911 calls from the dealership over and over with people saying that their cars are being held illegally. When I lived in Seattle there was a dealership that got run out of town, dozens of picketers and protesters walked up and down the street in front of their shops ...

Bill Heard is the largest Chevy Retailer in America - don't expect help from GM. On the bright side, they just went out of business here in Phoenix 2 years after building a new facility. Couldn't happen to a finer bunch of people. I shopped there a couple weeks ago, and actually left laughing my butt of at their total incompetence.
