Yawn. Late fall Sunday afternoon naps. Kids seem to invite the neighbors over all the time. But they've got homework so have to be the bad guy now.

We've had rain all day. Yesterday was cold, rain today, calling for sun, and a little warmer, on Remembrance Day.

We did a little hunting on Saturday, saw nothing, may go out tomorrow afternoon.

Thanksgiving. White meat or dark meat? Why? Please discuss.

Years ago, the Canadian Thanksgiving and Remembrance day were on the same day. I don't remember when, I think it was before WW2, that they were separated. The Canadian Thanksgiving was moved to Oct.

My preference is the dark meat, with lots of gravy.

Cold hear today, rain in the late A.M., turned to snow in the afternoon. Dark meat for me...better tasting, especailly with gravy. Also been know to hog down my fair share of white meat with cranberries to help it.

I always go for the ham, but I will eat dark meat on the bird, because the white dries out quicker, but the white meat does make a good turkey salad. If I am doing the turkey, I like it injected with some seasoning,, and in the turkey fryer,

Had to spray with some tempo today, down to 28 degrees tonight, want to keep the spiders outside,
