Nice. It is typically 20 degrees and frosty so the leaves are like walking on potato chips plus any wet areas have heavy crunchy frost. 4 or 5" of snow really quiets things down or as you said rain the day before is always good to quiet things down. Best of luck to everyone during this season. My brother in law just shot a spike last evening with his bow. i was planning on doing some hunting next weekend for the veterens say, but thats not gonna happen, but i should have some time off later, so maybe then.
