when i bought my truck the cab had been switched out cuz it was in a wreck. now the buys that did it must have screwed something up cuz theres to problems there nothin big but there annoying...
frist off is the ignition box... i cant turn the key back into the battery save or wutever its called... the key only goes back form enough to turn the truck off... when i turn the truck off the key dont go back far enough to turn the interior lights off they stay on till the turns them off with the power save thing... and i cant turn the key back like i said so my question is... does anyone know how i can fix this or am i gunna have to take it to a shop?.
and the second problem is the slider for the temp on the drivers side... i think theres a short cuz the passenger side temp slider works but this year when i went to turn the AC on it worked fine the the passenger side my my side is still blowin hotair... anyone had this problem?

I think that the problem is in the ignition switch its self. I would replace that first and if that does not work I would take it to the shop. I just wonder if they put in a new/different steering column in it when they did the swap. Hope this helps. Chris![]()

you do not know what they swapped they could have swapped the shell or the shell and parts if they were already installed....mike
