Default New 2013 Chevy 2500 LT off road

I just bought one of the last available new 2013 Chevy regular cab long box with the Z71 and other off road options. I will be putting a popup camper on it soon. I will use it for my fly fishing trips and canyon hiking. I was considering an extended cab but they were not available in 2013 or 2014 models with the options I wanted.

I am now shopping for a pop up camper. I will order a Hallmark. It will cost about the same as the truck. Likely my last rig so why not splurge?

Go for it. What model number are you looking at?

I am looking at and buying a Hallmark Cuchara which I owned before but they are quite improved, esp in the roof. It is 9.5 ft, so overhangs a bit and has holding tanks in the back. On more serious off road the camper would have to come off but should be fine for most places we go. Hallmark is likely the best popup camper. Outfitter is OK but my friend says service is not so good.

We had a camper as a second rv when I was a kid. Mostly when my dad went out and cut wood, etc. Youll be fine if you keep it easy.
