05 Taillights On 99 Silverado

Does anyone know if I could instal the 05 silverado stock tail lights on my 99 Silverado. I want to make sure everything matches up, wiring, skrews, etc. I currently have Euro tail lights that came with the truck when i bought it, and im not a big fan. I like the 05 tail lights better than the 99, and was wondering if they matched up.

Its the 99.5 or the early 2000. With the round front end opposed to the square

My guess is NO, it's not a direct replacement.

I've found eBay is a interesting place to check fitment. I just did a quick look, and the custom tail boys generally divide Silverados (not step sides) into 99 to 02 and 03 to 06. The power sellers don't want to miss a sale. So, if a '05 could be squeezed into a' 99, I'm sure they'd try to sell it as a proper fit.

I like the 05 tail lights better than the 99, and was wondering if they matched up.

FYI: There's quite a selection of custom tail lights available and they are, most likely, much cheaper than OEs from your local dealer.

Yes they are a direct fit I did it on my p
99 with 05 taillights the only problem you might have Is the bulbs from your truck not fitting but if you have the wire harness it will all plug in and work. Hope this helps

if its a nbs 99 it will work. A lot of people swap them out. Its pretty common.

Yep. You will need a harness for the extra corner bulb but it's not mandatory..

The only problem with Ebay motors taillights is "MADE IN CHINA" CHEAP JUNK
