Hi to u all,
I guess you could say this truck is my beater, dump trips, occasional boat moving. Had it about 10 years, doesn't owe me a thing.
I'm currently giving it a triple by-pass (all new brake, fuel, & tranny lines). Brake & fuel lines done. I was a machinist for many years, kind of away
from that now, I dabble here and there. I was looking for a forum with a strong Suburban click, think I found it and I want to hear from you by god.
I like boating too, I drop in on the boating forums occasionally.
Intro over, I'm jumping over to Chevy talk, I have something to say to the Suburban owners out there who may have installed a new gas tank or may be thinking about it. If interested, please see my post, pics too.
Ok, nice meeting u all.

Welcome to the Club!!!
I'm not sure how close a 97 is to a 93 but after searching, I found this thread that details how swap out the fuel pump, which includes removing the fuel tank. I hope this helps!
