Default 2008 Acadia water Leak by door?

I was wondering if anyone else on the forum had one of these crossovers and noticed a water leak from any of the doors?

I brought my 08 acadia to the dealer, and they told me i was crazy, but then they pressur tested it and found a leak, mine was only leaking from the front passenger side door, but someone else at the dealer(customer) said his was leaking from the rear passenger door, the fix was to replace the outside weatherstripping, and adjust the door to seal tighter. IMO the weatherstripping was probably fine, i think it was the door not adjusted properly.

We also have a 2008 Acadia that had a leak. Ours is a SLT with the Dual-Skyscape Sunroof. Over the winter months we noticed that the headliner developed a wet stain. We took the car back to the dealer, and found out that the fixed rear "sunroof" had a faulty drain tube that became disconnected and leaked into the headliner.

Of course the dealership replaced everything at no cost, however it seems totally unacceptable that GM would be making such "high-quality" vehicles that develop leakes before they are even a year old.
Your above comments seriously make me worry about the long term reliabilty of this car espicially since both you and another customer have expirenced leaks.

Has your issue been resolved? Mine has for now, but we are not looking forward to another leaky winter.

Actually you should have had the problem in the summer. Your leak was a product of GM buying some ruber drain hose and it was defective, it shrunk with heat, so the drainage tube being right against the roof of your acadia, had tons of heat, and shrunk which made the tube about an inch or so short and it disconnected itself. only the rear glass has this problem as far as i know.

Well I dont feel I should have had this problem at all to begin with, summer or winter. If its a summer problem I guess the leak has been corrected for good since we've had a few good rains and I havent noticed any leaks so far.

Was your dealer able to correct your leak? I'd hate for this to be an "on-going" problem that requires multiple trips to the dealer.

Funny you should mention this...I noticed my passenger side door leaking water during rain as well. I actually just signed up for this forum but it has paid dividends in only 5 minutes.
