Smile Ex 2008 Tundra owner here...

Had enough of the new Tundra, it had alot of strange quirks and it never felt right to me so I sold it a week ago. I just bought an 07 1500 4X4 Z71 Chevy with only a couple thousand miles on it, basically a pretty loaded demo truck. All I can say is there is a big difference in each truck and needless to say.. I love this Chevy...I never felt this way about the Tundra. Now to add some Mods and Goodies !!!!!!!!!!!

    CONGRATS..
I'd take a broke chevy over a new toyota anyday..

Glad you left the dark side and came to your senses. Hope you get many many thousands and thousands of miles of enjoyment out of your new Z71. I have 136K on mine and still runs as strong as the day i bought it..

    Welcome to the site.

Specifically what was wrong with the Tundra ? I currently own a 1998 Suburban- good vehicle 21 mpg at 70 mph and room for everything on our 3000 mile trips.

I've had a bunch of Toyotas- the small trucks and a 2001 Tundra. They weren't fun vehicles , but they were reliable.

I kinda figured that the new Toyota with the 5.7 would be a fun truck- who wouldn't like 385 HP?

    What was bad about it?

    Thanks,
    Charlie
