    need help trying to find the tac wire at the computer witch plug witch wire
    97 sub 2wd gas

    google for wiring diagrams that inclue the tach wire...there should be a wire near the distributor in the engine bay that has the tach pulses...at least on the older trucks...

    i have 1 from bulldog has ben great on the last 2 i did it just tells me the white wire at the computer .
    i have 5 plugs and 3 white wires just do not want to mess anything up

    Im gonna assume its a c1500 sub, i donno which wire it is on the ecm, but if you go to the instrument panel connector its pin 6 (white wire)

    If you look at the connector sideways theres a space between two rows of pins, now one side has seven pins on each row and the the other has 9 now you want to go on the side with the 7 pins (14 total) and from the middle(space) skip the first pin and the second is pin 6 i hope pin 22 (the pin right beside it next row) isnt white as well.
