The Avalanche LS came with a split front bench into, I think, 2011 (maybe 2012), my wife's cousin bought one (she has 5 teenagers).

I just checked Chev.com, the 2013 Avalanche has a front split bench as an option on the LS level. The 2011 and the 2012 may also list it as an option (probably a no cost option).

I just checked the Chevrolet and GMC website and for 2014 a 40-20-40 front bench is available at a $250 savings over buckets seats on the LS(Chevrolet) and SLE(GMC) Suburban and Yukon XL.

To all those that haven't seen a console-shift truck, clearly you haven't been inside an F-150 in the past 8 years.

    Or a Toyota Tundra.

The F-150 only has a console shifter on the FX2 or higher.

    The Toyota Tacoma.

I could not find any column shifter on any model.

Is this the same fate coming to the Chevrolet Colorado GMC Canyon?
