    why not use your veteran points to continue serving our nation at the naval base at everett? old abe'd (uss abraham lincoln) and the rest of the fleet stationed there would be honored to have you, i'm sure

    Well i dont know which of us you are refering to but for me i am not capable of anything beyond a desk job anymore.. And alot of the time the Civilian power generation companies pay considerably better than their military counterparts usually with union benefits.

    haha, oh ya, the pay is very very nice, i'd have to be a officer with 15 years in to make what i make now.

    Point made. I make nearly what i did when i was in but after my VA disability Id have to be an E-8 at least...

    i understand, just thought if the hiring was crap there maybe that'd be an alternative. i'm a disabled vet, too. must be affecting my rationale. that oughta be worth at least 50 percent claim. oh, wait, it is!!
