    Thumbs down clutch problems!!!

    i just came into possession of a 96 sonoma with a 4.3 v6 and the 5 speed tranny. all i know about the truck is that one day it was driving perfectly fine and then the next day we wanted to take it out but cannot get it into gear. it just grinds. the last guy to drive it said that the gears were grinding a little bit just as he was getting home, and that that was the only sign that there was something wrong. i don't really know anything about clutches so any help or advice on what could be the problem would be awesome. i just hope it's not the pressure plate.

    did you see if there was fluid in the master cylinder? if there is have you liike to see if the slave cylinder is moving when the pedal is pressed? these would be the 1st places to look....mike
