Aftermarket DIC for Trailblazer?

Hey guys I have a 2008 trailblazer and it doesn't have a (DIC) I'm wondering if anyone has installed an aftermarket one? This truck has the AFM 5.3l V8 and I'd like the ability to see the instant MPG and also Avg MPG.

I asked around and all it will take it buying a used console that did have DIC in it and also changing some things like a new clock spring and adding in couple of new wires in your steering wheel. (I guess from the new buttons to the display?) I'll see if I can get some better directions. Anyone done this?

Thanks Steve, I was also thinking the entire steering wheel must be changed out because I don't have any buttons on mine. Thanks again for your help here. Much appreciated
