    Default 2012 Acadia just died!

My friend was driving on the hwy at her Acadia just shut off, she was then rear ended. I don't know full details yet, as far as what the truck did (steering wheel lockup, any warning lights, etc). Anyone have a clue, she was towed to the nearest dealership and told her it would be a week to look at it, which is absolute BS.

Her description needs more information. Just like you hinted at, "Locked up" means different things to different people.

Why's it going to take a week to look at it?

First of all, is everyone ok?

Second, were her brake lights working? If so, the person whom hit her should/could be at fault

Maybe out of fuel.........who knows at this point.

Steering wheel locking up is probably just loss of power steering because the engine died.
