Default 5-speed shift lever with threaded end.

I really just want to put a new shift knob on my 97 Sierra I've been told the knobs are pressed on. Does anyone know of a company that makes a shift lever that has female threads on the bottom and male threads on top for shift knob? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Look at a truck stop, some of them sell shifter extenders.
I also found out years ago that shock extenders have the same threads as shifters and shift knobs.
