Default No More Fords- New in PA

Hello all. After four Ford Truck in a row I just bought a Chevy.
Had a nice 2000 Ford F150 4X4 STD cab long bed with a 4.6L v-8 auto. The Mrs. & the dog didn't like the standard cab or the height off the ground. Hated the lack of power and the 13 to 15 mpg too. (not to mention a $1600 trans job. $400 to repair the exhaust manifolds and studs and two starters in the 26K I owned it) Traded the Ford in on my 2002 Silverado Extended cab LS 2 wheel drive. Indigo Blue. 4.8L V-8 auto. 85K on it, pretty clean. Drives great! 17.8 MPG on first tank of gas. Only cracked 17MPG twice in four years with the Ford.

a great mechanic i know said some very wise words.

"the nice thing about a ford is its easy to work on, the bad thing is your always working on it."

    he also said

"a chevy is just easy to work on"

    welcome to the family :D
